The Atom Studio provides custom web design and development services. Because our work is bespoke and delivered as a service rather than a physical product, this policy explains clearly and fairly when refunds apply. It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions and the specific quotation for your project.
1. Deposits
Most projects begin with a deposit that secures your slot in our schedule and covers the initial planning, research, and design work. Once work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable, as it reflects time and resources already committed to your project.
2. Before Work Has Started
If you cancel a project before any work has begun, you are eligible for a full refund of any amount paid, less any non-refundable third-party costs (such as domains, licences, or paid assets) already purchased on your behalf.
3. After Work Has Started
If you cancel after work has commenced but before completion, refunds are assessed based on the stage of the project and the work already delivered. You will be charged for the work completed up to the point of cancellation, and any remaining balance from your payment will be refunded. Amounts tied to milestones that have already been delivered and approved are non-refundable.
4. Completed & Delivered Work
No refunds are provided for work that has been completed and delivered in line with the agreed scope. If a deliverable does not match what was agreed in the quotation, we will work with you to correct it within the revision terms of your project rather than issue a refund.
5. How to Request a Refund

6. Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through PayHere, our payment gateway. Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days, though the exact time it takes to appear on your statement may vary depending on your bank or card provider.
